0 Verizon LTE network expansion goes live in many U.S. cities, others ready tomorrow

Verizon has announced the launch of a bunch of brand new LTE markets today, in addition to some expansions planned for tomorrow. The newly-launched Verizon LTE markets include:

  • American Falls, Idaho
  • Americus, Georgia
  • Aspen-Snowmass, Colorado
  • Billing and Helena, Montana
  • Bremerton, Colorado
  • Coffeyvilley, Kansas
  • Cheyenne, Wyoming
  • Ellijay, Georgia
  • Emporia, Kansas
  • Greely Colorado
  • Lawrence, Kansas
  • Marion County, Ohio
  • Moultry, Georgia
  • Merced, California
  • Pueblo, Colorado
  • Richmond, Indiana
  • Silverdale, Colorado
  • Statesboro, Georgia
  • Tifton, Georgia

A few more expansions on existing LTEzones are planned to go live tomorrow, some of which we had heard about last week. They are...

  • Asheville, North Carolina
  • Arizona (southern area"includes Interstate 10 north to include Marana and east to Vail; the community of Sonoita; and along Highway 86 west to Three Points.")
  • Bemidji, Minnesota
  • Bloomington, Illinois
  • Clinton, Iowa
  • Dayton, Ohio
  • Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Verizon has been regularly expanding their LTE coverage in order to cover 75% of the U.S. population. Any customers in these markets high-fiving their Verizon reps? Who's still left in the dark? Anyone worried that service is going to go to hell once the iPhone 5 launches?
