It's true!

If you own an Android phone then you may want to listen to the music you've dowloaded onto it in your home, backyard or Mercedes Benz....

...or Pinto.

And it's possible if you use an Android FM Transmitter.

Here is how it all works...

An FM transmitter is a small device used to transmit audio sources to FM stereo's within a certain distance.

For instance: You can plug your computer into an FM Transmitter and then tune it too a certain frequency on your nearest FM stereo.

Now...

Tune the FM stereo to the same frequency and you should hear the computers sound transmitting from the FM transmitter.

Keep reading and I'll explain and enlighten further.

Android Phone FM Transmitters

What's the difference in Android Phone FM Transmitter?

Let me explain...

Some FM Transmitters broadcast up to 150 feet while others will eek out 3-5 feet.

Why is this important?

If you want to use an Android FM Transmitter than it will do you little good to purchase the cheap versions you can find at Best Buy or Amazon.

Most of those only broadcast 5 feet at best and may or may not work in your car.

Some of the reviews on Amazon are filled with disgruntled Android owners who have tried to get the cheap FM transmitters to work, but find the cheap ones are just that...cheap.

What Type of FM Transmitter Should You Use

Here's the deal.

Avoid cheap models and invest in something that will last.

Most versions which are of high quality will last two-five years which is a lot better than some of the lesser priced ones.

Read this review from Amazon:

When I first bought the CA-745, I thought it was a great buy: it worked well. After about nine days or so, it started making a loud cracking sound (loud static) whenever the end of the stereo connector moved. This quickly became unbearable to me because it happened every time I selected a song or changed the volume, etc. I had to return it for a refund.

This is for an Android FM Transmitter which costs around $25.

And they even sell cheaper models constructed with secondary components.

Since you were smart enough to read this Hubpage I've written for you, then let me share with you something you won't find revealed very often.

The cheap models only transmit sound a few feet, which make them virtually useless to use in your home.

The well built built FM transmitters broadcast anywhere from 50 feet to the FTC legal limit of 200 feet.

These types are optimal for in home use and inside your car.

And remember, if your an audiophile, then you will want to listen to your Android music inside your home, back porch or virtually anywhere with in 150 feet of your Android.
